Vintage Hairstyling

I'm trying to grow my fringe out at the moment. It's frustrating. I wish I woke up in the morning with my hair looking like this.

"She shows you how to achieve some fantastic 40s and 50s hairdos - victory rolls, waves and pompadours, the fake fringe (bangs) then more than twenty hairstyles called things like "The Vixen", "The Casino Wife" and "For The Boys."

Who else desperately wants to know what a 'Casino Wife' do would look like? I'm sure I need more hair glamour in my life. Available here.

I have a fringe and I find it's fairly easy to adapt the styles. Obviously there's some I can't do, but I can do the bits round the side or the back.

It is a very good book, though! It's very thorough in the step-by-step illustrations, so that I think I just about understand how to do fingerwaves now!!! ;)
