December 2009

December is one of my favourite months of the year. Christmas and the associated preparations: crafting, shopping, wrapping, baking, cooking, gifting, celebrating, giving, relaxing and enjoying. This year December also included some snow(ing)!

This is the (steep) road that leads up to the town.

I completed the yoyo garland I threatened early in December. It was going to be red, gold and green, but I had a change of heart half way through, and made it in these colours instead.

Another garland that went up this year (the yellow starts were a bargain - £1 for the whole thing!).

I enjoy wrapping presents just as much as buying them. This year I was inspired by this set on flickr. I can't imagine how long those took - mine took long enough just with the simple details!
