My entry to Illustration Friday's topic: Similar.
I was using this background pattern as a placeholder while I created the actual one. Then I realized it looked exactly like the lino floor in my kitchen, so I left it as is. (Does anyone else struggle with knowing when to stop? I do!)

Love this illustration, keeping the placeholder as a background was a good call!
Knowing when to stop with art is such a constant struggle. I'm still looking at paintings I've "finished" and sealed while thinking, "You know what this needs? A little bit more paint here..." But since it's already sealed I can't add that bit of paint.
Yep!
This is Cute!
I've definitely experienced that when creating paintings and sculptures. It's also quite a problem when writing!
So you do illustrations? Or are you a specialist in graphic design as a whole? Forgive me but I don't actually know what you do! :)
Love that illustration you've done, though. Have you ever thought of making greeting cards?
